The National UI Issues Conference is the only annual national conference on unemployment insurance focusing on the concerns of the employers who finance the system. Planned by business for business, this Conference explores the major UI issues that businesses face every day as well as the primary legislative and policy issues.

This one of a kind national conference will once again bring together national experts from the private sector as well as the key federal and state officials responsible for the development of policy, legislation and administration of the UI program.

The conference agenda includes a comprehensive review of UI solvency issues and how states are addressing it through legislative solvency packages, improvements in integrity, changes in benefits and tax rates, and bonds. We will also address best practices in UI claims and appeals representation, electronic exchange of information in the claims administration process, and the latest federal compliance issues. Each attendee will receive the 2012 Highlights of State Unemployment Compensation Laws (the Green book) which provides a comparison of state UI laws and administrative practices used as a resource for policy makers at the state and federal level. Conferees will also receive a conference program book with copies of presentations as well as access to the presentations through links after the conference.

2011 Conference
